The current crisis presents a whole raft of problems for families, particularly those with family members who have self-isolated in accordance with government advice.
Those in isolation face a difficult time, and will not be able to visit banks or other financial institutions to deal with their money. Most banks etc. will have the option to deal with matters online, but some people are not comfortable with that idea.
A power of attorney may be useful in that it will allow someone other than the person in isolation, their children perhaps, to manage their money whilst they are confined to their homes.
